4: Paris Las Vegas is owned by Caesar’s Entertainment Corporation (traded as CZR), the fourth-largest gaming company in the world.
7: Paris has seven sister properties owned by Caesar’s on the Las Vegas Strip: The Linq, Harrah’s, Caesar’s Palace, The Flamingo, Bally’s, Planet Hollywood, and The Cromwell. The Rio is also a Caesar’s property but is not on The Strip.
14: There are 14 restaurants in the Paris Las Vegas casino and hotel complex.

540: The approximately half-scale model of the Eiffel Tower measures 540 feet tall.
1783: The prominent hot air balloon at Paris Las Vegas is based on the Mongolfier balloons of 1783. The design of the original balloons (gold symbols against a blue background) was devised by a noted wallpaper manufacturer from the Ancien Regime, Jean-Baptiste Réveillon.
1912: The Galeries Lafayette department store opened in Paris, France in 1912. The beautiful Art Nouveau-style stained glass ceiling on Le Boulevard leading from Paris Las Vegas to Bally’s appears to have been based on the ceiling of the Galeries Lafayette. Some travelers have compared it to the incomparable Sainte-Chappelle but the Paris Las Vegas ceiling is far more Art Nouveau than medieval and a quick web search will explain why one is probable and the other not so much.
1999: Paris Las Vegas opened on September 1, 1999. The Strip’s Mandalay Bay had opened earlier that year in May. Major events in the United States during this year include the impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton, the introduction of the Roth IRA, the first time the Dow Jones closes above 11,000, the Columbine High School mass shootings, the docking of the space shuttle Discovery with the International Space Station, the death of John F. Kennedy Jr in a plane crash, the retirement of the last Checker cab in New York City, the crash of EgyptAir 990, the return of control of the Panama Canal to the Panamanian government. Also in 1999, people were gearing up for Y2K, the crisis that wasn’t.
2,916: The Paris hotel has 2,916 rooms and is 33 stories tall. Three architectural firms collaborated in its design and construction with Herbert Horowitz acting as executive architect.
5,425: There are 5,425 miles between Paris Las Vegas and Paris, France.
760 million: The estimated cost of the construction for Paris Las Vegas is $760 million.
