The Connection

By Leonard Pigg

Her body comforted me
Soft flesh pressed against mine
Low, staccato moans of bliss
I felt the moment of energy
The exchange of feelings
Our bodies spoke as one
We knew peace
Despite the outside world
And all its trappings
Enjoy and embrace
Those moments
It keeps your humanity intact
